Parsio pricing starts at $29 a month for 100 credits and $49 a month for 1,000 credits on the Starter plan. Growth is $149 for 5,000 credits and Business runs from $299 for 12,000 credits up to $1,299 for 100,000. A page costs 1 to 3 credits depending on the parser, so $49 buys 500 pages through the default GPT parser, not 1,000. Paying yearly takes about 17% off.
Those figures come from the plan table on the Parsio pricing page. The cards at the top of that page show yearly prices by default ($24, $124, $249 a month), and several review directories still list a $41 starting price, which is the yearly rate of the 1,000 credit Starter tier. Neither is what a monthly subscriber pays. Below is the full card, the cost per page for each parser type, and what the same receipt and invoice volume costs on a flat plan.
Parsio pricing plans at a glance
| Plan | Credits per month | Monthly price | Yearly price | Pages with GPT parser | Cost per GPT page, monthly |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Free | 30 | $0 | $0 | 15 | n/a |
| Starter 100 | 100 | $29 | $290 | 50 | $0.58 |
| Starter 1,000 | 1,000 | $49 | $490 | 500 | $0.098 |

| Business 12k | 12,000 | $299 | $2,990 | 6,000 | $0.050 |
| Business 25k | 25,000 | $599 | $5,990 | 12,500 | $0.048 |
| Business 50k | 50,000 | $999 | $9,990 | 25,000 | $0.040 |
| Business 75k | 75,000 | $1,199 | $11,990 | 37,500 | $0.032 |
| Business 100k | 100,000 | $1,299 | $12,990 | 50,000 | $0.026 |
Cost per page is our arithmetic: the monthly price divided by the pages the plan covers at 2 credits a page. Above 100,000 credits Parsio quotes a custom plan.
How much does Parsio cost per page?
Between about $0.03 and $0.10 a page on paid monthly plans, depending on volume and parser. Parsio sells credits, not pages. The GPT powered parser, which is the default and the one most people use for invoices and receipts, takes 2 credits a page. The pre trained AI parser takes 3. The template parser and the plain OCR converter take 1. Credits are shared across parsers and renew each month.
| Parser | Credits per page | Output | Pages on Starter 1,000 ($49) | Pages on Growth ($149) |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| GPT powered parser (default) | 2 | Structured fields from a prompt | 500 | 2,500 |
| AI parser (pre trained models) | 3 | Structured fields, no setup | 333 | 1,666 |
| Template based parser | 1 | Structured fields from templates you build | 1,000 | 5,000 |
| OCR converter | 1 | Text only | 1,000 | 5,000 |
The template parser is the cheap route, and it is genuinely good for fixed layouts such as order notification emails from one store. Receipts and supplier invoices rarely have a fixed layout, so for that work budget at 2 or 3 credits a page.
Is there a free version of Parsio?
Yes. The Free plan gives 30 credits a month, which is 15 pages through the GPT parser, with 30 day data retention and one user. It is enough to test a document type. It is not enough to run a month of receipts for a business, and unused credits do not carry over on any plan.
What do the Parsio plans include?
The integrations are not gated. Google Sheets, Zapier, Make, n8n, webhooks and the API are marked as included on every plan in the comparison table, including Free. What changes with the tier is volume, retention and seats:
- Data retention is 30 days on Free, 90 days on Starter and Growth, and 180 days on Business.
- Team members are limited to 1 user on Free and Starter. Growth and Business allow unlimited users.
- Credits expire at the end of each billing period. A page only uses credits the first time it is parsed, and previously parsed documents can be reprocessed.
- Running out does not stop the inbox from receiving mail, but new documents wait unparsed until the next period unless you upgrade or renew early.
That seat rule is the one to watch. A bookkeeper who wants a second login moves from $49 to $149 regardless of volume, a jump of about three times.
Parsio vs a flat receipt and invoice plan
Parsio is a general parser: emails, PDFs, bank notifications, resumes. If your documents are receipts and invoices, the comparison that matters is cost per page at your real volume. Here it is against ReceiptOCR pricing, where Starter is $49 a month for 2,500 Base AI pages plus 500 Pro AI pages and Plus is $149 for 10,000 plus 2,000.
| Monthly volume, one page each | Parsio plan needed (GPT parser) | Parsio monthly | ReceiptOCR plan | ReceiptOCR monthly |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 300 receipts | Starter 1,000 (600 credits) | $49 | Starter | $49 |
| 1,000 receipts | Growth (2,000 credits) | $149 | Starter | $49 |
| 2,500 receipts | Growth (5,000 credits) | $149 | Starter | $49 |
| 5,000 receipts | Business 12k (10,000 credits) | $299 | Plus | $149 |
| 10,000 receipts | Business 25k (20,000 credits) | $599 | Plus | $149 |
At low volume the two cost the same. From about 500 pages a month the flat plan is cheaper, and at 10,000 pages a month the gap is $450 a month. The comparison assumes the Base AI model; ReceiptOCR also includes 500 or 2,000 Pro AI pages a month for hard scans.
Where Parsio is the better buy
Be fair to it. If you need Zapier or a webhook at 300 documents a month, Parsio includes both at $49, while ReceiptOCR puts webhooks and the Google Sheets feed on Plus at $149. If your input is email, Parsio was built around a parsing inbox, and the template parser at 1 credit a page is hard to beat for repeat layouts. And for document types outside finance paperwork, a general parser is the right tool.
Where a flat plan wins
Receipts and invoices in volume, phone photos and scans of crumpled paper, files with several receipts on one page that need splitting into separate records, line items with quantity and amount, Schedule C categories, and QuickBooks files as an export. Those come with the plan rather than being built in a prompt. If you are weighing similar tools, the Parseur alternative page and our Parseur pricing breakdown use the same per page method, and the OCR API pricing hub covers the developer APIs.
Does Parsio work with Zapier and Google Sheets?
Yes, on every plan, including Free. Zapier and Make connect through native integrations, and Google Sheets is a direct export. On ReceiptOCR the equivalent is a signed webhook that posts each extracted receipt or invoice to a Zapier Catch Hook or a Make custom webhook, plus a live IMPORTDATA feed for Sheets; the Zapier OCR integration page shows the payload field by field.
Is Parsio worth it for receipts?
For a solo user with a few hundred emailed receipts a month and a Zap already in place, yes, the $49 Starter plan is fair value. For a bookkeeper, an AP clerk or a business processing more than about 500 receipt or invoice pages a month, a flat receipt plan costs less per page and returns receipt specific fields without prompt tuning. Once the parsed records exist, the next job is usually matching them to the bank feed, which is where reconciliation software that matches bank lines to invoices takes over. To see the difference on your own paperwork, upload a batch to the bulk receipt scanner and compare the output.
Frequently asked questions
How much does Parsio cost per month?
Parsio costs $29 a month for 100 credits or $49 for 1,000 credits on Starter, $149 for 5,000 on Growth, and $299 to $1,299 on Business for 12,000 to 100,000 credits. Yearly billing costs $290, $490, $1,490 and $2,990 to $12,990, about 17% less.
How many pages do I get with Parsio credits?
Divide credits by the parser rate. The GPT parser uses 2 credits a page, the AI parser 3, and the template parser and OCR converter 1. So 1,000 credits cover 500 GPT pages, 333 AI parser pages or 1,000 template pages.
Do Parsio credits roll over?
No. Unused credits expire at the end of each billing period. A page only consumes credits the first time it is parsed, so reprocessing an old document does not cost again.
Does Parsio offer discounts?
Paying yearly saves about 17%. Parsio states it has no other promotions or discounts, including on Black Friday.
Is there a cheaper alternative to Parsio for receipts?
For receipts and invoices above roughly 500 pages a month, a flat plan is cheaper per page. ReceiptOCR Starter is $49 for 2,500 Base AI pages, and Plus is $149 for 10,000 pages with the Zapier webhook and Google Sheets feed included.
