The Mindee pricing page sets its currency from your time zone, and the figure most review sites copy is the euro price. A US buyer pays a different number, built from two parts that the headline hides.
G2, Capterra and similar sites list Starter at 44 a month and Pro at 116. Those are the euro annual figures. In US dollars the same Starter setup is $636 a year, or $53 a month, and Pro is $1,608 a year.
Starter is a $29 monthly platform fee and Pro is $119. Credits are bought on top, in packs of 500 to 25,000 a month. A plan with no credits processes nothing, so the fee alone is never the bill.
One page is one credit, but a page returned with a confidence score uses 1.5 credits. If your app routes low confidence fields to a person, which most receipt workflows should, a 500 credit pack covers about 333 receipts.
Run past your pack and Mindee keeps processing, billing extra credits at your unit rate plus 20 percent. On the 500 credit monthly pack that is about $0.072 a credit, or $0.108 for a receipt with a confidence score.
Credits last for the billing period and do not roll over. A monthly pack sized for your busy month wastes money in a quiet one, which is why the yearly pack, usable at any time in the year, suits seasonal volume better.
Mindee returns JSON. Your team still builds the upload flow, the review screen and the export into a spreadsheet or QuickBooks. For a finance team without developers that build costs more than any credit pack.
Mindee lists three plans. Starter and Pro can be billed monthly or yearly, Enterprise is a yearly contract. Every plan includes the full Mindee API and all extraction models.
One full seat, unlimited models, confidence scores, utilities and chaining, polygons and community support. On yearly billing the platform fee is $312 a year.
Everything in Starter plus unlimited seats, live chat support and a choice of where your documents are processed. On yearly billing the fee is $1,284 a year.
Custom pricing with a minimum of 500,000 credits a year, a dedicated account manager, custom SLAs, premium technical support and two hours of solution engineering.
500 credits for $30, 2,500 for $141, 5,000 for $265, 10,000 for $498 and 25,000 for $1,171. The unit rate falls from $0.06 to about $0.047 a credit as the pack grows.
6,000 credits for $324, 30,000 for $1,523, 60,000 for $2,863, 120,000 for $5,382 and 300,000 for $12,648. Yearly credits can be used at any point in the subscription year.
Mindee documents a 14 day trial that includes 200 pages with full platform and API access. It is a test window, not a standing plan, so production use starts on Starter.
Two numbers decide the bill: pages per month and whether you request confidence scores.
Mindee bills per processed page. A two page invoice uses two credits, a long hotel folio can use five. Only successfully processed files count, so failed uploads cost nothing.
Tip: Pull 50 real documents from last month and count pages. Multi page invoices are where estimates usually go wrong.
If you want a confidence value on each field so a person can check the weak ones, each page costs 1.5 credits. Utilities such as split or crop add 0.25 credits a page unless they feed an extraction template.
Add $29 a month for Starter or $119 for Pro, then pick the smallest pack that covers your credits. Starter at 2,500 credits is $29 plus $141, so $170 a month.
If nobody on your team writes code, compare against a finished tool that exports Excel, CSV or QuickBooks files. The page price of a finished tool already includes the upload screen, the review step and the export.

You are building receipt or invoice capture into an expense, loyalty or AP product and want SDKs in your language. Mindee is built for you, and under a few thousand pages a month it is the cheaper API.

You need receipts in a spreadsheet or QuickBooks, not JSON. A finished tool with export costs less than a credit pack plus the code to use it.

Yearly figures use the yearly pack that matches twelve months of the volume (6,000 credits for 500 a month, 300,000 for 25,000 a month) plus the $312 yearly Starter fee, divided by 12. Add half again to the credits if you request confidence scores on every page.

Read the table honestly. For a developer who needs an API, Mindee Starter is cheaper than our Pro plan up to roughly 8,000 pages a month on monthly billing, and up to roughly 4,000 pages a month when both sides bill yearly. Mindee also covers far more document types, ships SDKs for several languages and returns polygons for every field. Where we win is volume and finished output. At 25,000 pages a month the gap is $1,200 against $499, and a bookkeeper who only needs a spreadsheet pays $49 for 2,500 receipts in our web app instead of $170 for API calls that still need code around them.

Mindee offers a 14 day trial that includes 200 pages with full API access. After the trial, processing requires a paid plan starting with the $29 Starter platform fee plus a credit pack. Older listings that mention a standing free developer tier describe an earlier price list.
Mindee keeps processing and charges your payment method for extra credits at your plan unit rate plus a 20 percent overage surcharge, so you are not blocked. On the 500 credit monthly pack that works out to about $0.072 a credit.
Pro costs $90 a month more than Starter for the same credits. It adds unlimited seats, live chat support and a choice of processing location. If one developer owns the integration and you have no data residency requirement, Starter does the same extraction for less.
For a developer under about 8,000 pages a month, Mindee Starter is usually cheaper than our Pro API plan. For receipts that end up in a spreadsheet or QuickBooks, ReceiptOCR exports Excel, CSV and QuickBooks files from a web app starting at $49 a month for 2,500 pages, with no code.
Above roughly 8,000 pages a month our Pro plan is cheaper. At 25,000 pages Mindee Starter costs $1,200 a month against $499 for ReceiptOCR Pro, which includes 35,000 Base AI pages and API access. On yearly billing the crossover comes earlier, at about 4,000 pages a month.
